Where it takes place : The festival is held at Doi Saket Temple in Doi Saket district, a genuine local Yi Peng celebration set against a sacred temple backdrop. The Doi Saket sky walk is within walking distance of the venue. A real local festival, with your own reserved space : This is not a staged event for tourists only. It is an authentic community festival with around 2,500 guests per day, so you'll be surrounded by thousands of people releasing lanterns into the night sky together. At the same time, ticket holders enjoy a dedicated private viewing area with on-site security staff, giving you a comfortable and safe space to take in the atmosphere and release your own lanterns. What's included : 3 sky lanterns, a complimentary meal box, traditional Lanna candle lighting, hill tribe cultural shows, Muay Thai performance, Fon Leb traditional nail dance, Lanna Victory Drum performance, a sacred temple tour, fireworks, and round-trip transportation from the meeting point at Wat Phra Singh Main Gate. About group size : The "up to 10 people" group size refers to the shared transportation only — each van seats 10–12 guests. It is not a limit on the festival itself, which welcomes thousands of attendees. Responsible travel : Used lanterns are collected after the event to reduce waste and support sustainability, and the experience is run in partnership with the local community. Guests must come to the meeting point by themselves. Pick-up is from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Wat Phra Singh Main Gate.
