About this activity
Kerchor Karen Community Elephants is a sustainable, elephant-friendly experience run by the local Karen community, where elephants are treated as family. Riding is not allowed, and elephants are free to show their natural behaviors. Most tourism income directly supports elephant care and local livelihoods, including forage and habitat support, veterinary care, and rescue-related costs. You’ll start with an elephant welfare and safety briefing, then step into the community’s real day-to-day care routines for a deeper, more meaningful experience. The program also includes nature activities such as bamboo rafting and a waterfall visit. Full day session Pick up time : 8.00 - 8.30 AM Drop off time : 4.30 - 5.00 PM.
