About this activity
Discover the natural beauty of Doi Inthanon National Park, home to Thailand’s highest mountain, cool mountain air, lush forests, waterfalls, scenic viewpoints, and local hill tribe culture. Start with hotel pickup from Chiang Mai and travel to Doi Inthanon National Park. Visit the highest point in Thailand, where you can enjoy fresh mountain air and peaceful surroundings. Continue to the beautiful King and Queen Pagodas, surrounded by colorful gardens and mountain views. After lunch at a local restaurant, enjoy a guided trekking experience on either the Pha Dok Siew Trail or Kew Mae Pan Trail, depending on season and availability. Walk through jungle paths, rice terraces, waterfalls, coffee plantations, and Karen hill tribe areas while learning about local plants, farming life, and traditional culture. Before returning to Chiang Mai, visit Wachirathan Waterfall, one of the most powerful and photogenic waterfalls in the park. A version without trekking may also be available upon request.
